A very funny thing...

I got to witness and be a part of one of the funniest things I ever say on Saturday night just gone.

I wintessed a friend not only win $30,000,000, but only to find out that it was gone... let me explain.

Saturday night, we had a big Jackpot of $30m in Tattslotto, and my girlfirend and I went over and saw some friends. Whilst we were there we decided we'd have a BBQ, so went down to the local supermarket to get a stack of meat, and a lettuce leaf.

There were three of us blokes, and we decided we shuold each get a ticket for the big draw just in case.

So it came around to just after 8:00pm, and I handed Mark the numbers that I got from my iPhone to let him check his numbers. Watching him was quite funny - whenever I get a ticket (only for the big ones) I search through to see if I've got all of them - he went through one by one, and once he hit 4 numbers he was grinning.

"Look, I've got four numbers"
"We don't beleive you" Matt and I were saying to him,
"Look I'll show you", showing us with his thumb covering up the last two numbers - because he hadn't checked them yet.

I sat and watched, getting drawn into the excitment I must admit, and he discovers that he has all 6 numbers required.

With that, he jumps up saying that he's won - and shows his wife holding up the numbers we wrote down for him and his tickets, with the two of them beaming!

At that point I couldn't help but to start laughing - it was weird I really became excited by them!

Mark looked at me, and then asked to see the numbers on my phone - at that stage both Matt and I were in tears. What we'd done earlier was ask Mark, who was out the back cleaning the BBQ, where his ticket was because we wanted to check it for him.

He yelled out "in my wallet", to which Matt replied "I can't see it, don't worry" - leaving Mark to think we couldn't see it. However, we did.

We pulled out his ticket and wrote down the numbers in the forth line down.

He hadn't won, and although simple, was one of the best pranks ever - after Mark had calmed down somewhat he admitted he was gone hook line and sinker, and that at least he knows the feeling of what it's like to win the big one!

I know it sounds cruel, but was hillarious - now I just have to wait for his revenge!!
